Mt. hermon lutheran church
Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church of Peak, SC was organized in 1889 for "the worship of the Almighty God, the salvation of souls, and the spiritual welfare of the community." The present church building replaced the original structure in 1958.

In May 1873, a small group of SC Lutherans of German descent gathering to dedicate their newly completed house of worship--and Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church was born. The new and present church building was built in 1974.
