MT. HERMON LUTHERAN
Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church of Peak, South Carolina, was organized in 1889 for "the worship of the Almighty God, the salvation of souls, and the spiritual welfare of the community." The congregation worshiped for about a year and half in a nearby schoolhouse while the church building was constructed. The present church building replaced the original structure in 1958.
Mt. Hermon and Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church united to form the Peak Springhill Parish on January 1, 1964.
The congregation of Mt. Hermon looks forward to continuing to grow and serve the community as faithful followers of Jesus Christ, as we practice"God's Works ... Our Hands!"
